담배 기업으로 인한 피해를 줄이는 실질적인 방법
담배 기업의 피해를 줄이는 제일 좋은 방법은 중독된 사람들이 담배를 끊도록 돕고, 아이들이 흡연을 시작하지 않도록 예방하는 것입니다. 담배 기업은 매일 110명의 캘리포니아 주민의 생명을 앗아가고 있으며,73 한 사람이 사망할 때마다, 더 심각한 담배 관련 질병으로 30명 이상이 고통받고 있습니다. 74 중독된 사람들이 의료 지원을 포함한 검증된 무료 금연 방법을 이용하는 것이 중요합니다. 상담과 약물치료를 병행하면 영원히 금연할 수 있는 가장 좋은 기회를 잡을 있습니다.75
