California đã chấm dứt việc bán thuốc lá có hương vị như thế nào?
Vào ngày 8 tháng 11 năm 2022, cử tri California đã ủng hộ Senate Bill (SB) 793 bằng cách bỏ phiếu nói “Có” đối với Dự Luật 31, ngăn chặn các nhà bán lẻ bán hầu hết các sản phẩm thuốc lá có hương vị, bao gồm thuốc lá và vape mùi bạc hà.1 Điều đáng chú ý là luật này hà khắc với các nhà bán lẻ các sản phẩm thuốc lá có hương vị và không phạt hoặc hình sự hóa đối với một cá nhân mua, sử dụng hoặc sở hữu một sản phẩm thuốc lá có hương vị.
Các nhà bán lẻ sẽ không còn được phép bán các sản phẩm thuốc lá như sau tại California:2
- Thuốc lá điện tử và vape có hương vị
- Tinh dầu, thân nạp và đầu nạp cho thuốc lá điện tử có hương vị
- Thuốc lá mùi bạc hà
- Xì gà loại nhỏ và cigarillos có hương vị
- Sản phẩm thuốc lá không khói có hương vị
- Giấy cuốn thượng hạng có hương vị
- Thuốc lá dạng lá rời có hương vị để tự rê
- Giấy cuốn thuốc lá có hương vị
- Sản phẩm có chất tăng hương vị thuốc lá
Luật mới ngăn chặn ngành thuốc lá từ việc mồi chài và trục lợi trẻ em và các cộng đồng bi nhắm khác bằng các sản phẩm thuốc lá có hương vị của họ.
