캘리포니아주는 어떻게 맛이 첨가된 담배 판매를 중단했나요?
2022년 11월 8일, 캘리포니아주 유권자는 소매업체가 멘톨 담배 및 베이프를 포함한 대부분 맛이 첨가된 담배 제품을 판매하는 것을 금지하는 주민 발의안 제31호에 대해 “찬성” 표를 던져 상원 법안(SB) 793을 지지했습니다.1
특히, 이 법은 맛이 첨가된 담배 제품을 판매하는 소매업체에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 개인의 맛이 첨가된 담배 제품 구매, 사용 또는 소지에 대해 처벌하거나 불법으로 규정하지 않습니다.
소매업체는 더 이상 캘리포니아에서 다음과 같은 담배 제품을 판매할 수 없습니다.2

- 맛이 첨가된 전자 담배 액상, 파드와 카트리지
- 멘톨 담배
- 맛이 첨가된 작은 시가 및 시가릴로
- 맛이 첨가된 무연 담배 제품

- 맛이 첨가된 담배 롤링 페이퍼
- 담배 제품 맛 증진제
새로운 법은 담배 기업이 맛이 첨가된 담배 제품으로 어린이와 다른 목표 지역사회를 노리고 이익을 취하는 것을 막습니다.
